Bucks trip - advice

Hey guys,

MY fourth trip to Patong beach, my last one was pretty much when i really learnt most of the stuff. The one before that i only started to learn and my first trip i didnt learn much at all!

Anyway i digress. I am going with some mates to Patong beach for a bucks trip, I wanted to get some advice both for day activities and night. I know about the standard island tours (james bond, phi phi, any other recommendations? i have already done this like twice before) plus the shooting range (i have only been to the one closest to patong, i hear there are better ranges?), fantasea etc. I wanted to know if there are any caving tours, animal safari type stuff, seeing the spiders and snakes of phuket, any other daily activities you recommend for a group of young men celebrating a bucks trip? Which island tours do people generally recommend?

Now more importantly nightly activities, I was thinking pretty much bangla road predominantly. As in go to some Bars initially then start the clubs, a different club each night perhaps..... Also I thought suzy wong might be good as they do that hitting the guys with rubber sticks, we could really get the bucks involved in that. anything else?>

We leave this saturday, the bucks trip will be for about 1 week and i will be staying on for an extra 10 days on top for my own private time

Hi Mate ,sounds like a good trip. To be honest I wouldnt try to make plans for any day trips with the Boys if your on a Bucks piss up.555 cant see you guys getting up early for the trips.
Why not save that stuff for when your mates have gone home, who knows you might have a new "friend" you can take with you, maybe do an over nights to one of the near by Island with a TG.

Funnily, actually thats what i keep trying to tell them, but there is one married bloke who probably does not want to have big nights out... and hence wants to do a lot more daily activities. I keep on reiterating that you go with those plans but once you get there and have really late nights, there is no day activities.....but it fell on deaf ears, hence why i am trying to figure out day activities that can be had

John Greys Sea Canoe at Phang Nga Bay was a real highlight of my recent trip. The trip is called Hongs by starlight. Great day with great food and plenty of it. The guides had good english skills as well. Highly recommended.

Simons Caberet is also worth a look for a very professionally put together ladyboy show.

Fantasea was also good, think theme park on Thai crack. The food was a bit hit and miss but there was plenty of it. There is a fair wait between dinner and the start of the show that is clearly designed to separate as many baht from you as possible. The show itself is quite spectacular with a herd of elephants on seforum.xxxe, trapeze artists, magic tricks, dancing, shadow puppets, chickens and goats. Trust me you will not see anything like this anywhere but Thailand.

Sounds good, I didnt like the food at Fantasea either but the show and the tigers etc were cool. Not sure if its a bucks outing, that was the only thing i wasnt sure of. the sea Canoe sounds good.

I have been to Phuket Rifle club (i think that is what it was called) twice now...... Its the only shooting range I have tried. I heard it is supposed to be heaps better than the one in the shopping centre at Patong. It cost about 900THB for fire off ten rounds at a target from memory.. so not too bad. It is also next door to go karts, so you can do both while there. Go Karts always popular for bucks nights......

If I was organising a bucks night, depending on the people involved and how much "fun" they want to get up to, how many etc........ I would hit a larger bar first for drinks etc, then hit the gogo bars... Suzy Wongs and Devils Playground seem the best to me. Have not had any bad nights there. You can do the whacking at both clubs as well..... even if your buck does not want to go with any of the girls, you can always organise one of the girls (or two or three) to pay him special attention at the club by way of personal lap dance. I'm sure they would be more than willing if you buy them all a LD.

I wonder which shooting range i have previously been to. Its about a 10 minute ride out of Patong beach. Going up / down a curvy hill. It may have been the one you are talking about?

Yeah i was thinking Suzy Wongs might be good, is Devils Playground nearby? The whacking definitely sounds a good place to take a buck.

Devils playground in the same soi as Suzy Wongs. Suzy wongs at the end of the soi on the right, DP about halfway down on the right.
The whacking look fun and is, but is honestly does not hurt one little bit... makes a massive noise, but you do not even feel it... Try and convince the girls to take off his belt and whack him with that. haha..

Not sure of the shooting range. I know it is out of Patong and we had a driver both times take us there. I thought it was further than 10 mins though..... maybe 20 mins.

Can you believe i am so LAME, and my memory is so bad that i completely forgot i wanted to try out Pattaya this time around. I have already got my flights and accomodation booked for Patong so its too difficult to change now. I really have to remember next time i want to go to Pattaya just to see what the fuss is about.

I know man, kind of annoying actually, but he is that personality. He generally always gets his way in the group as he is quite loud and brash i suppose and quite forward in speaking / insisting on what he wants to do. Generally i am the only one who speaks up if i think we should do something different, most of the rest just go with the flow. Since he is married and doesnt want too much temptation (his words), he was telling me to just go with the flow and not go off with girls till everyone else has left / when i am by myself. I plan on doing both, i am sure at the latter end of the night if i choose to be with a girl, it shouldnt really affect the bucks party, besides which i know at least half the guys in the group want action (majority of guys are married so some may not).
