Use of percussion devices for self-care​

The percussive devices employed at Massage Envy franchised locations aren’t just great to use with clients – they’re also excellent tools for therapists to use as part of a warm-up/cool-down routine before and after their shifts. Using a percussive device on yourself for a full-body warm-up before starting a shift can help increase blood flow and loosen muscles, preparing the body for the demands of the day. Conversely, applying the device after a shift can help alleviate any muscle soreness. Regular use of percussive therapy may help maintain muscle health, reduce tension and prevent injuries.

New exclusive massage mediums​

The Massage Envy brand has just completed the development of seven exclusive massage mediums, including lotions, gels and oils, that are only available at franchised locations. Designed to promote skin health and wellness as well as deliver optimal performance, these products were developed with input from massage therapists. The brand cares about what therapists are exposed to, so the formulas contain no gluten, sulfates, parabens, GMOs, fragrances, formaldehydes or phthalates, and were not tested on animals. Even the packaging was developed with services providers in mind; it offers easy access in a sanitary manner without compromising product waste.
