Seems a bit like 'world' series baseball or so many other US centric ideas..

Im sure you will be able to watch it in many bars as they all have cable ESPN etc..

But you have to realise there are very few people outside the states remotely interested in this sport. The no 1 sport on this planet is soccer, so you will see blanket coverage of this in almost every bar

Sorry Hookey but who mentioned anything about it being watched being live? The argument is about it being the most watched sporting event every year which it is not, And has being proven not to be.

Also if a fight is pay per view they do not show it on the tv afterwards well not over here anyway, So I guess that figure is correct but im not 100% sure on that but I will check it again when I get a chance.

The guys are definitely right when they say that most people would not give a hoot about watching the Sueforum.xxxowl. Even though soccer or *football* (by European standards) may be the most popular sport world wide, I think the Super Bowl will be on guaranteed. The only problem is the time difference. The game will be shown live at around 8 am here in Japan on Monday morning. So that would make it 6 am in Phuket. I am almost positive that no bars will be open to watch the Super Bowl at 6 AM.
Your best bet is to book into a hotel with cable TV for the night. I am sure that the Holiday Inn or some of the nicer hotels will have it available. Grab a few buddies and some cute bar girls or FL after the bars close and end the night off by staying up and watching the game. Could make some contests to go along with it. Touchdown. Each BG takes something off. etc etc. Will definitely have some stories from this years SB!!

Because as I said in an earlier post, the total viewing figure is meaningless because it can't measure individuals, only the 'live' figure is a valid measure.

The 100m figure bandied about for the Sueforum.xxxowl is the 'live' figure; the cumulative figure bandied about (according to Sky's PR department...) is about 800m. In many countries, Pay Per View is for the live event and then it goes into syndication and is often shown the next evening or over the next week, certainly Sky's PPV boxing often (but not always) works that way.

most hotels have satellite, not ubc. most the games, nfl, are on espn through ubc. check in the hotel, on espn, they will have that channel, and they will have commercials telling if they have the sueforum.xxxowl on. i watched the afc championship in my hotel last week on espn at 6am.\

I like watching the old grid iron games, but I must disagree about the sueforum.xxxowl being the most watched sports event every year.

Surely you meant to say that it is in fact the Wimbledon Tennis tournament old chap, what-what !! It's a wonderful time of the year where all those sporting chaps and lasses put on a jolly good show, while we, the aristocracy, sit around quaffing champers, munching strawberries and having a right old hoot, what-what !!

This eclipses the 138million for a Sueforum.xxxowl, but as has rightly been stated, the World Cup final is only played every 4 years. However, I still feel that the English FA Cup final has a bigger audience and that is played every year. I haven't found any data yet, but will continue to search.

hands down the sueforum.xxxowl is the most watched sporting event of the year. The reason being is that it is only one game. It is watched by millions of fans from around the world not only for the game but even more so for some people is watching the half time show and the commercials that run throughout.
If I was to ask you whose titty popped out during last years sueforum.xxxowl or who was in last years mens wimbledon final, which one would the majority of people get correct?
On top of that, a 30 second commercial at this years SB is going for 2.4 million US$!!
The SB is not just a game, it is an entertainment event that lasts all week with the game being the major show.

Hookey, As far as I know that was the live figure as the total audience was over 500million, Also I have found more information on the F1 races, The "Live" average figure for watching the whole grand prix is between 160-300million viewers...

Anyway the point has already been proven I think, So we'll say no more about it
