:redface: Hi all, I'll be back in Patong in June and was wondering if at 55 I'm too old for the disco :tongue: It's someting I wouldn't dream fo doing back in Perth but in LOS ????. I had the chance on my last visit but bottled out and we went to the Karaoke instead. This time I'm on my own and I will compromise and will travel without the zimmer. Thanks in adv.

I'd say you will certainly feel out of place at Seduction, Sounds and Lime.....probably at Hollywood as well unless you look younger than your age or look/dress cool and can carry it off...

you would probably be fine at Tiger and Baya though so I'd say give them a go....you will definitely fit like a glove in Taipan as falang guys need to show an OAP card to get in there.....:wink2:

Nelson, thanks, It was the Tiger i was thinking of, as last year I was at the bar (name escapes me) located near the foot of the stairs to the Tiger disco watching all the TG's going in 5:1 to farangs, no greyheads tho' :whistle: Will give it a go and report findings.

A FL friend of mine told me she doesn`t like to work out of Taipan.

LOS is a place where you can do things that you may not normally do back home. If you want to go to Tiger Disco there is nothing stopping you but yourself. If you think you may be a bit old to go there, then do something to add a bit of youth to your appearance. Maybe the Grecian 2000 is a good idea (it works for me!). Get some cool clothes as well. You will have a ball there, and at Hollywood as well. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to go there and walk out with one of the hot freelancers.

I will never forget one night I was in there with my rent-a-GF and as I don't dance much I was upstairs watching the world go by while she was downstairs making out as if she had no backbone!! ( I couldn't watch for too long as I would have soiled myself....sexy little thing she was!!)
Next time I looked she was "dancing" with a real stunner and the pair of them were fogging up the windows!!

Not so in LOS - age is irrelevant - "sanook", the ability to have fun, and to be fun to be with is what is important regardless of your age.

wanpan - wttb. 5555... Funny story, having a great night and gf says hey, let's go to disco and I say, no, can't go to disco, I'm old man, no dance. She says no problem, many old man, I show you. And sure enough, when we got there she started pointing (literately) to this older fellow and that older fellow, the disco was full of them (err, well, us...), all having an absolute blast!

So, go for it, you will hab a fun time!
