They can write to Management Office (if there is one - in the case of the Markham Spa) that there is illegal activities going on. Now the Management Office will recommend that the landlord revoke the lease.
This open a whole new situation.
Is the Spa still responsible for the balance of the lease - if the unit stays unrented?. How about the security deposit?
I would suggest that for anyone who knows these owners - Consult a lawyer especially those who knows about Commercial Leases.
