I often start off a tour as a 1st class mongerer, but then 3/4 way through i get a bit tired of it and settle for the girl i have liked the best ....

I know exactly what you mean, but on the other hand there are complications with butterflying also. Have to deal with many BF, finding starfish, the runner etc etc. If you find a good one to spend time with no need to move on.

With that said I am part time gfe, pt mongerererer(I think?). In Pattaya I would prefer to monger and in Patong would prefer my regular. Have to convince her to come down to Patong in Sept from Isaan:love3: May have to offer up meeting me in Patts this trip h:

I would say it's like any situation I have with the opposite sex. Some I want to bang and some I enjoy hanging out with. In my last thread I mentioned a GFE that to me was really great, but also did some mongering. This one BG I had was a total 10 (GFE was an 8 on looks but a 10 on companionship). I did ST with BG, she was great, but that's all I wanted. Only 2 trips to LOS and did both GFE and BM. 70/30 for me. I go back in december and maybe pick up where I left off with the GFE. I have many numbers, though.

I don't know how these things work, but I must send out signals whereby I only attract girls who want to be deep and meaningful, and being married and having experienced the hurt that that can cause I run a mile.

However I have also tried the whambamthankyoumam and that just does not work for me either, so now I just abstain altogether and accept my situation of being monogamous.

Thailand turned my world upside down when first visiting 12 years ago and I still have not lost my fascination with it. I love the stories and beers with fellow travellers, and I'm still learning.

This may sound a bit sycophantic but I can't help but have a begrudging respect for unabashed self confessed mongerers (as long as their nice to the girls of course). They seem balanced.

If I'm in BKK/Patts/Patong I prefer to monger. There's just too many options for me to settle for one. If some mutual chemistry happens then maybe a 2 or 3 day GFE. But when I'm traveling inland and/or going to PhiPhi/Samui/ or any type of remote island/beach I prefer to have a GFE.

Nothing beats playing in the water with a happy TG. Especially when they are very excited about being in the water and playing submarine. I think when you take a BG to a nice island they can relax and forget about the crazy day to day life they have to deal with at the bar.
