Pretty much why I stopped going. One major turning point for me was an incident months ago, even though it was a long time ago, couldn't forgive and forget. I was a walk-in, at 30 minute mark of a massage, an older tattooed lady came in barking in Chinese then the original masseuse left. Told me the other was booked; then asked if I wanted pay her ultra high prices for her finishes. I said No, and left. Never got their names, frankly don't really care, the place feels like it is poorly run.

Until I hear that there is a new superstar there, no plan to re-visit unless everyone at GE/Rosewater/Active/LomiLomi/Strathcona. There are just so many good shops in that cluster to waste time at a marginal shop.

Tried it this weekend , Massage was so under average. the lady seemed to be upset from something not sure why.. not sure if this is how she talks to people or just that day was not good for her. for sure not going back. I tried GE before and i prefer to spend the money there.

I probably saw Ashley too. (And, she was not Jessie.)Unless, they had someone new, who left recently. It sounded like she said her new name was Aleigha. (Perhaps, she pronounced her fake name wrong.)

Went one rainy night and I happened to come when they didn't have a customer. 40 plus, weak English, slim. Definitely don't have any strong visual image. Therapeutic and good massage, for the back, but when she went into preflip mode....Holy shit!! Her fingers had me squirming. The feather touches along my back, and over the sweet spots, and I was anxious to turn over. One of my favorite preflips for sure. Strong finish. Excellent deep tissue pecs massage, an oft neglected way of massaging in this area.

The other places nearby were booked full that evening, so I am happy I got to try the place out. Room was clean, table was good. But, I wasn't paying attention to the spa this time.

I tried Active twice earlier this year, the first time did a walk in with someone I don't remember her name who gave a good massage, left happy but kind of underwhelmed.

The second time I made an appointment with Ashley, and a had a very good visit. Decent massage, and nice ending that left with me with a spring in my step. I regularly pay $140 for a 1 hour massage with hj and $160 for a topless hj at various places. Maybe I could pay a bit less if I haggled, but that kills the mood. I never pay more than that though, I just say no thanks if they quote higher and won’t budge.

Getting this thread back on track to Ashley. Revisited with Ashley@Active, she has definitely lost some weight since I saw her last, the yoga attires look good on her. With the new make up and new body, she looks late 30ish; no spring chicken but does fit in that milf category. The massage was definitely good and deep, good bodyslide finish, price is average, I would repeat.

A question for the Active fans out there, I have seen Ashley and Amy there, any other talents worth trying there?

There was a Vivian and Yoyo there a while back. Not sure they are still there. I saw Vivian who was a younger/trainee going to school once. Had good english and worked hard to provide good session. From what I understand Vivian only works Thursdays. But that's hit or miss because she misses shifts. Best to call ahead to confirm

I’m just trying to understand the mentality… do people just not think/worry about it? Or get tested a lot? I did it once long ago from being pressured by the attendant (not from here) but was nervous for weeks after, so I’ve avoided ever doing it again.

It almost seems less safe to me than fs, because I doubt anyone is putting on a rubber for a bs. Maybe I am too cautious and missing out, feel free to enlighten me.
