my gf's old bar paid girls that lived in the lady house only 20baht for drink compared to 40baht

also, doesnt it always seem that its the uglier girls that live in the lady houses?

Every bar is different but what I think its common is that girls in the lady house dont receive any cuts from the barfine, but still do earn 40 baht from the lady drinks.

Point well taken Marc. The price you spend on drinks while going on with your search may end up to be more than the 200 baht difference.

If the girls order e.g. a tequila shot it may be a lady drink but I dont think we ever did that for a beer. My guess is that a beer is a beer and not a lady drink.

Yo Pattaya folks,
As much as I spend on drinks for myself alone when in a party mood,(80% of the time),and a few lady drinks,all told about 4000 baht ($100.us) a nite, I am usually in "excessive happyiness mode", and tend to not mind the BF action as long as they don't really try and stick it to me,the last 10 years I've been there its always been about 200-300 baht beer bars,500 baht a go-go bars...but then I only get 30 days R&R every 6 months..lol..see you guys around August...SAILOR SPRING

But as long as a lady is drinking the drink and the drink was bought by a customer, shouldn't the girls get a commission for selling it??? Although granted many times the drink is offered by the customer.

Why is it that a bar is selective in what constitutes as a lady drink?? And so if a beer being drunk by a lady is still a beer and not a lady drink, what drinks are considered purely lady drinks??? Softdrinks, juices, cocktails and wine?? But not shots and beers?? Why is that???

A lady drink is usually charged as a mixed drink ie: one nip of liquor mixed with soft drink or a bacardi breezer around 120 baht...in my experience...

Well yeah of course 200bht isn't much at all especially if you found one that you really liked, however my only problem was that on my first visit there was no bf on my second visit it was 300 and on my third visit it was 500 bht... Now like Bobbie said it should be the other way around... But then again living in a place where logic doesn't exist i guess its something i should expect.

It's great to be back! In the four years that I 've been comming I've never seen this many good looking girls and the ratio is also the best I've seen. Heard about a former BM who went to LOS with a big amount of money (No Name) , he left his home country in Jan. and was suppose to stay 4-5 years in LOS .. (ive´heard some thing about 40.000 euro or simular) .. he was a big spender but only under a short period sort of speak , he came home before i did in May

As said before .. Up 2 U ! .. atleast i know how much i can spend before i need to go home earlier then i planned!

Bar fines are worth paying if you really want that girl but if prices keep going up the bars will start loosing out to other places that charge less or customers will make a private agreements with the ladies and then the customer will drink elsewhere, so bars need to remember custom is not guaranteed and people vote with there feet. If you want a bird on the cheap best bet go out late nip in thai pan pick one up and off you go u give her 1000 in the morning, no bar fines, no lady drinks and your still sober to have a good time.

In my experience a lady drink can be a whole bottle of Sangsom , a bottle of coke and a bucket of ice some time and a barfine can be as high as 12.000thb so stop whining about 200thb barfines´and expensive lady drinks :ytounge:
