The barfine is something of a surprise when you 1st arrive but fortunately you have stars in your eyes and a lump in ya groin and $10 oz seems immaterial.Thereafter you expect it and the lump in your groin demands you pay it still.Its a bit of a surprise when you are not paying it thereafter...has happened to me a few times.Seems that if you develop a bit of a regular rapport with some ladies they try to get you out of it.One lovely lass I had seen three times before told me to slow down on the last drink as it would soon be closing and I would save 300. Another semi regular partner took me by the bar religiously till day 4 then said she was having days off to be with me (I requested that we go around the island) and BF has never been mentioned since . I am tho happy to pay 1500 for the 1st few days to the likes of these athletes, theafter something like 4000 every 4 or 5 days .I buy all food and drinks but they consume like sparrows and a single or double room costs the same anyway... Never bought jewelry or pricey presents either and never will...Jewellery MAI CHOB!!

Before this year, I never paid more than 1000. But this year, I spent a lot of time in BKK, and there is no way you get LT for 1000 in BKK, anymore. So, I figure, after all, there is inflation. Is it really fair to expect them to take the same rate they were getting 5 or 10 years ago? Are you getting the same wage/salary you got 5 years ago? Would you be happy if you were?

Plus, of course, I am not getting any younger!!:embrassed 5 years ago I was hansum man!!

Well, I usually pay only 1000 still, when I can get away with it! But not to negotiate so hard, if they ask for more and I really like them! Also, sometimes, if I really like the girl, I give her 1200, even if she doesn't ask for more. Guess I am a softy!!:embrassed

When the girls asked to go with me I think I always payed the barfine, I never checked the bills so I can't say for certain but I think I never got away not paying it. There was one girl thou that came to my room day after day during the last 10 days of my second last trip but she never mentioned anything about barfines...
