I agree it is my favourite of the Bangla clubs. A lot better now that they have opened it up.

The drinks are annoying, they only serve 1/2 ounce (count to two when free pour) when most places serve a full ounce(four count). But at least its Absolute.

Usually I stick to bottles of beer when going to Bangla, nothing worse than a short measure or some disgusting 300 baht bottle of copy vodka.

So many bars don't even offer Smirnoff as their well drink? I just walk straight out, so to save a couple hundred baht a bottle they lose a customer! ..IDIOTS!!!

I have drifted back once or twice since the renos and yeah seems a little fresher in there these days...has always had the best music of the Bangla clubs...(maybe save Seduction on a good night)

Just make sure you show the server what note you are giving her and check your change in front of her...they have been known to short change or not to bring back change at all...has happened to me but that was some time ago

I have more problems in that place over the years than anywhere else in Patong, even Thai Scam next door. Which is pretty bad as I think I have only been in there 4 or 5 times in total. :diablo:

:wai:i fully agree with your note specially because it's rainy and windy here and looking at this mild atmosphere I just want to jump into the monitor and go there.
This place is a beauty with the bay, the palm trees and the rocks that surround it, and the wooden construction which must be giving support to those who go to this beach.
What are those constructions we see on background, specially that round tower in the left side of the photo?

Re: Baya Beach. I liked it loads better when it was a funky Thai restaurant there with plastic chairs, worn formica tables, and very good food for 30 Baht for a big plate of most any Thai dish you wanted. Served water from plastic pitchers into tin cups full of ice, for free, of course.

When they gave you your check bin, you went to the table at the back of the room, where a fat lady who never smiled, sat there with a big cash box, took your money and gave you your change! Lovely! 555..

And the best place in the world to sit and order two entrees, and maybe a Pepsi to wake you up at half past noon, as you lazily dined, watched the world go by on Bangla/Rat-U-Thit , and perhaps chit-chatted with the smiling BG from the night before sat next to you!

Baya plays the best music and has a great atmosphere. It is smallish enough to get to know most people and every lady inside is almost within eye candy range. It's my number one place to have a good time.
