They do prescribe meds pre-emptively even before confirmation of results, but only if your dick is oozing or you got clear symptoms. Sounds like either the doc should get his license revoked or this guy lied and took the meds himself.

The meds he took are for gonno and chlam, both of which takes a few days to even start seeing symptoms. So if he took them out of fear the day of or the next day, then it's most likely not through a doc.

And if it's the case that you took meds before seeing major symptoms, OP either you or your doc are a fucking dumbass, because that's how you create super bacteria and super virus rendering the only fucking meds we have against these diseases ineffective.

I had a similar scare as you once, and said the same. Doc said to do tests asap, but no meds were prescribed until results came back, so if what you say is true and your doc did prescribe, well ill leave it at that between the medical pros.

It was the heat of the moment. I certainly wouldn't do it again. Trust me it's all running through my head now. I'm being put on PEP now for 28 days just to be sure. I've had 3 different types of antibiotics now. My hobbying days are over. I had to tell my wife that we cant have sex for a couple months. It’s worth it to take it just for piece of mind. Taking PeP after unprotected sex happens also and is given to rape victims and such. No testing is required. It’s at the doctors discretion. Remember we live in a socialized health care system. It’s in the doctors interest to do as little work as possible to keep the line moving. Just be insistent and they will give it to you.

are you saying that in a similar situation my doc did the wrong thing by not giving me meds right off the bat and waiting for results instead?
