Bucks trip - advice

Well the boys have left. Just me now, I have had this bad cough for about 6 days now!!!! I am on antibiotics and have taken cough syrup and cough tablets with no luck. I missed 3 days of the bucks due to this stupid cough. Hopefully the antibiotics work.

My friends had a ball, We went to suzy wongs around 4-5 times. Everyone went hard. People started dropping off sadly i was one of the worst hit due to the cough. I am in a jacuzzi room but no point if i am out of it and unable to have girls over . Or even being in thailand if i am just stuck in bed.

Anyone know where i can get inhalers / puffers. My doctor back home usually prescribes me certain specific puffers to help remove the cough from the lungs as well as the antibiotics.

On the bucks, everyone felt this was the best place to have had it as they just werent not prepared for what patong beach had on offer and revelled in all its glory. The nights usually only ended around 5-6 am except for when things shut down early. That and the Christins experience was enough for everyone.

Haha i think everyone visiting in the last 6 months has gotten that flu/cough. Ventolin or the Indian generics are available at any pharmacy there. Just wander in and do the puffer motion and wheeze a bit at the counter. If you get the actual pharmacist they usually have better english than your average BG.

hey guys, to continue this thread (and sorry to hijack it), I'm heading over there on my bucks in about a months time... any advice? its just going to be me and a couple of other mates ......

should we hire a scooter? wheres best to stay? which sights are worth seeing during the day (things that you can show up to after 12... i.e. AFTER recovering from our hangovers)....

any advice would be greatly appreciated

OH really? no wonder half my group got it as well. Although i got the strongest hit by it albeit closely followed by one of them. I made the mistake of not taking any meds except for the standard tablets they give. It was only about 3 days in that i went looking for antibiotics which started to help straight away and then about 4-5 days later when i got a puffer. Am about to finish the antibiotics and a part of the cough is still there although much improved, got the puffers though so that might be enough.

What is the john greys? never saw them. Can people recommend some good true thai restaurants, which are also decently priced. Hate the high priced main stream stuff you get on beach road. Most of the time i eat on ra-u-thit road as it is a bit better priced and i did find a couple of traditional thai places.

There is some great (value for money) Thai food (Especially sea food) to be found in a Seafood Food Court right behind the old Tiger Complex. You can also access this area off Rat-U-Thit road... I forget the names. Though 99 Seafood and No 64 spring to mind...

Yeah, been there, but only to one place that a girl took me to. Awesome food there for sure, was wondering if there are other places lke it, The prices are good and the taste was one of the best i reckon.
