The other thing to remember..

The girls that go and dont ask, that might pick a younger guy and it seem 'free'..

You have to remember these girls think we are ALL rich, thats just Thai logic 101, it doesnt matter if your a backpacker in a 300 baht room with a 500 baht budget, they just believe we are all loaded. In a way when you look at our life options and choices available to us, we are !!

So they see any white guy as a possible millionaire husband.. IF they are giving freebies its because they are hopeful that your going to be the knight in shining armour, marry her, and take her to the land of plenty where she will live like beverly hills 90210 thats been shown on TV. Thats her concept of the world outside Thailand borders.

So if your taking the 'free' that shes giving with that investment, with no intention of anything more than some fun travels round asia and no strings sex with girls from clubs, your taking her investment and abusing it with no intention of return. Yes on the surface theres some free sex, but it isnt driven with the same free motivators as a girl in a western club might give. The only reason its free sex is you dont understand the Thai perspective and motivations, its part of a proposed deal, a deal that your not intending to keep your side of.

Exactly. Although you've done better than me. I’ve never paid less than 2k LT. in fact I’ve never paid more or less than 2k LT (in LOS) and never ever had ST. I’ve never tried to pay less than 2k LT, 90% of the time (in LOS) i dont get quoted, i just leave 2k - but in the cases where I have been quoted (once or twice i think) it has been 2k LT. I’m not going to try to negotiate on 500b (a literal 10ner in the UK...). i'm having far to much of a good time and far to drunk to spoil my night with such banter. That’s just me.

Maybe I might try and say 1500b in patts next week, and see what the response is. I’ve heard some girls in clubs are even happy to accept 1k for LT... Who knows? My standards are high, if she’s not the hottest girl in the place I’m not interested, so I still have my doubts even on 1500b.

But as I said, 2k is fine by me if the girl is outstanding. If she’s not outstanding in every way, I’m not gonna go with her anyway. i'm not worried about the cost as long as i'm having a good time, the girl is having a good time, everything is safe and everyone is getting good value for money - shes getting a fair buck and i'm getting (another) night of a lifetime.
