In the Mariahilferstrasse to Technisches Museum ( for english speaking guys The Technical Museum) there are a lot of very cheap whores, especially during nighttime.

There is supposedly a small RLD a stone's throw from that giant fairground type deal (cannot recall the name for the life of me, my time in Vienna is a bit hazy) but it looked like shit, bunch of bars with bored, old hookers chilling inside. It may have hurt that I was there shortly after Christmas (early Jan) but I doubt it, the city was sleepy even on my other visit.

The best bets are privathuis action and escorts. Everything is on the up and up. I'd say 70-150 EU for an hour is what you can expect; 150 should get you Greek or a 10 or both. Cab drivers know what's up and there are millions of ads in the local sex mag. It'll run you 4 euro but it's free at most places. If you want to get a quick bang and good service for a little heavier price right away, Kuchgasse11 (that is the name of the website and the street address as well, very simple) is right in town. Nice selection, accurate photos, 150 for an hour, pretty much whatever you want (2-3 pops, Greek with half of them, etc). I went to several on the outer ring, too, but when you're smoked up riding with some random cabby it's hard to keep the addresses straight!

Following gogolores' suggestion and that of a barman, I had a look at WestBahnhof.... doing the typical European "out of the main station and turn left thing". You do have to cross a main road on the way. On a very fast look there seemed to be three types of places spread out (but I might be wrong and it was midweek). The first was the typical windows and doorbell arrangement, I rang one or two and got no answer......probably busy.....the second were bars with girls....walked into a couple, beer was €8 which was really steep, and we only really went there to report here, so we declined. however the girls we asked all wanted between €90 and €110 for ST, which compared to say Brussels is a fucking rip.....particualarly as none of then were more that 7's.....and that was pushing it.

The third was one bar that had a doorman and a very pretty black girl outside. She wasn't up for it and was just bait. I think it was a rip off hostess bar like you find in Paris and Budapest, so we declined.....

Next time I'll look for the FL's.......probably a much better bet......but I didn't see any.

I didn't get a chance to look this trip but I am going back later in the year. What sort of prices do you normally expert to pay please if you know??

One thing that was cool in the Centre of Vienna, was they have set up a beach next to the Intercontinental...complete with bars, restaurants, sun loungers, a stage, sand (lol) and even a sand sculpture exhibition. (Not to mention the bikini clad girlies......).

I thought it was fun anyway!

I have visited Vienna a few times and never really found any action (although I know from other post on here it exists).

I was wondering whether there was a "take a left out of the main station" type RLD like you get in German and other Northern European Cities?

I will be there for a few days next week and will try and get to some of the places mentioned in the posts, but if you know of a "traditional" RLD please let me know.
