Magners is gorgeous stuff, all over the City in London now, but the cost was ridiculous - 3.50 for a 330ml bottle!!

You can get round the snakebite ban by drinking alternating pints of beer then cider, kinda like an internal snakebite! nasty stuff.

As a kid, our drink of choice was Thunderbird wine, 1 bottle of blue and 1 of red. Remember having my first night on it when I was 14, mother was not too happy when she had to pick me up, throwing up all over the car and giving her abuse :embrassed

5555 oh yes the good old thunderbird and what about MD20 20 that stuff was lethal as well, i liked the strawberry one

Also im quite partial to the shooter drink Aftershock, bit of an aquired taste a bit like drinking cough bottle, so i suppose not that much different from black death or fishermans

Same in Glasgow the Magners is very expensive somewhere between £3 & £3.50. Its deifinately the best tasting drink to take off here in a long time

The choice of drink in LOS is pathetically poor comared to what's avaiable in the UK

I had some deadly Absinth in a bar in Thailand. We have Absinth here in Sweden too but this crap was absolutly the worst thing i ever had. I heard that you could get hallucinations from the original thing but that was banned, atleast here in Sweden.

Anyone tried Absinth "made" in Thailand?

Magniers cider is the only drink I drink at home, But its not called Magniers over here, I dont know why but when they exported it over to the UK they changed the name, Its called Bulmers original cider...

PS: It works out at just over 5euro for a pint bottle over here, But you get some late night bars and all niteclubs that do not have the pint bottles, And they sell the 330ml bottle for 5/6euro a pop....

Lol, yes there is the high prof. stuff of it here.Well true its deadly. But the worst stuff i drunk was in ukraine, they call it samagon.Its a home made stuff, no control how much alcohol it has, normally over 70%. Got once filled up from my grandpa, who is a non alcohol drinker, but he enjoys to make his own stuff and wine (which is the worst wine you can imagine proudly offering to every visitor). Ended with a whole day puking the hell outa me. Na starowje! uke:
