With the debate raging on another thread, I thought I might do some research on the subject; here is what my fearless sleuthing has come up with:

HIV Is NOT Transmitted By:

Casual Contact/Sharing dishes or food - it's ok to share the odd labia kebab

Swimming pools and hot tubs - take care in the shower

Contact with saliva, tears, sweat, feces or urine - great news here for some


Risk Assessment: Sample Scenarios

A woman is concerned about getting HIV from a co-worker.
She accidentally drank from his cup. She thinks that he may be gay - Very low risk, does he mince?

A man is worried that his chick may have given him the clap, they did not have unprotected sex but she rubbed her scabby fanny up and down his knee and he threw a handful of sperm at her. He thinks she may cut his cokc off if he asks if she has a dose - Low risk depending on runniness of scabs, check bag for knife; poss choose nicer company?

A few words about risk, sex and guilt

In our daily lives we take many risks. When we drive, cook, or bang away like armed policemen, there is some risk involved.

In some cases, such as rogering bargirls in the rusty bullet hole without lubrication, the risk involved may be quite high. However, in most instances we get used to conducting our daily risky activities without letting the risk stop us. Steve, that was beautiful, brought a tear to my eye. I really wanted to dispel the myths but was having to much fun ranting at stupidity. My personal opinion is that much of the fear surrounding heterosexual sex was invented and hyped up to suit the agendas of a select group of activists. It is the most dangerous way! Bare-back is absolutely out of the question, even with a condum there are quiet some risks!

If you get in contact with the blood and the girl has hiv, you have a big chance catching it too!
