How much do Gogo-Girls earn per month?

I wanna know how much a Gogo-Girl earn for working in the bar, I mean if she don't go f***ing with a customer.

a) get she paid by the owner of the bar for dancing?

b) how much do they get commission for a lady drink? 50% probably? or do they get nothing for the lady drinks?

c) do they have a target how many lady drinks they have to sell per day?

there is no gf. you can also think on the income of a ordinary BG - the business should be the same (just without dancing).
I mean a gogo does a little bit more then a BG, they dance and do some shows (BG just play 4-wins

the question is, because the average monthly income of a thai family (both working) is about 15.000 Baht.
I just wanna know how much they get and what the rules are for working in a gogo.
going with customers is individuell. If a lady is not so pretty she should also earn something for sitting the whole night at the bar.

Many gogo's, many salaries, many rules...

In general they have a salary, but that is depending on the gogo they work at, and what they do (dance topless or do special shows mostly means a higher salary).

I'd guess they will get about 15000 bhat in salary + from their perceneforum.xxxe on ld's with not too much trouble. Some maybe a bit more, some maybe a bit less.
That is without the cut they get from bf's and what a guy pays for taking them to the room, or without money they get from sponsors.
Often they have a minimum of ld's and bf's to reach each month.

Coming too late or breaking another rule means they have to pay a fine and when they don't feel like working they sometimes barfine themselves => less salary

So just for dancing, drinking and nothing more about 15000 bhat is not far from reality.

wow, 15.000 for dancing and drinking... now i understand why most ladies wanna work in a gogo and not behind the counter at a 7eleven.

do you think they get also some money from barfine?
I think the barfine belong 100% to the owner of the bar, because the lady is not working for the rest of the night.
and do they have to give money which they get for f***ing to the bar or to the mamasan or does this money belongs to the lady to 100%?

From what BGs have told me over the years I'd say Edje's post is pretty well spot on.
Figures I remember hearing from more than one girl were - lady drink 30-40 baht for the girl.
Bar fine 100 baht to the girl - minimum of 4 to 6 barfines per month or monthly salary is reduced by a couple of k.
Extra couple of thousand per month for dancing topless.
Girl might also have to buy her own "uniform" for the bar - for example "Foleys Bar" in Pattaya the girls wore long black boots that cost around 2000 baht - you could spot the new girls since they hadn't been there long enough to earn the money to buy the boots.
The girl also seems to spend the first few months paying back the start up costs - money borrowed to get her to the bar area, find a job, place to live, buy her uniform, clothes, make-up, living expenses etc - all paid back to some friend or relative plus interest.
Money from the punter is usually all for the girl - no kickback to the bar -but every girl seems to owe money to someone for something, mostly having borrowed from other girls etc when times were quiet.

I know a few go-go ladies here in Chiang Mai.
In Star XIX they get 6000B per month, 30B per lady drink
they have a quota of 60 LD a month (from my memory).
They get half the 500B bar-find but no share of tips in the bar.
Most get 1500B privately from punters for ST/LT, some earn more of course.

If the have a day off it costs them a bar fine.
They get fined for their shortfall in the LD quota.
They get fined 100B every time their late for work.
They get fined 100B every time they are late getting up on the seforum.xxxe...
even if they are having a lady drink with a bloke at the time.
They get fined 100B for forgetting to wear their number.
They get fined 100B every time they forget their seforum.xxxe shoes, socks etc.

Just the other night one told me at the end of each month her salary minus fines is ZERO.
Some ladies earn more because they do solo acts, I'm just talking about the pole zombies.
Oh yeah, their not allowed to consume alcohol at work at all.

Thats been my experience with some girls I have known too.. Lots of guys are relating numbers but those are given by mamasans and girls themselves who have a vested interest in pumping those numbers..

Fines for being late, fines for every infraction or rule break, made many of the girls wages vanish so they are living of the money they made outside of the bar.

In last Christmas I was in Pattaya Soi 13, and a note on the wall announced the bar looked for BarGirls to work there.
The base salary was 3000 Baht/month!
And yes, the girls there told me they keep 40 Baht per ladydrink.
140 Baht they got from the barfine, and the "tip" and other possible incomes was for them.
In Patong in Phuket the base salary was from 6000 Baht, but could also be higher depending of the girls looks and attitude.
The less fortunate and not so beautiful had no base salary from the bar, only made their money from the barfine and "tip".
I am sure some variations from bar to bar, depending of popularity and location.

I've no doubt there is a few who earn that and more, but most of those probably wouldn't tell you and those who tell you they are earning that kind of money probably aren't.

I'm not answering for IJ, but there are a handful of smart ones that really capitalize on their attributes.

These are "ultra stunning" ladies who pick and choose their clientele and demand very high prices. Usually, they've a couple or more well to do "sponsors", who help out the cause.

I've seen a young lady in Isaan, who not only has built her family a home....but has three others, for herself. (2 she rents out to farang/Thai families) She drives a BMW 700 series, back and forth from Pattaya.

By my reckoning she must be pulling in 75,000+ a month at least...

As i said P i've no doubt they do exist and i have known some that undoubtedly must have been pulling that kind of money just by looking at the trinkets they had like cars, apartments, jewellery, clothing etc and i have known one in particular who while i was living with her was wired around 300,000 baht as a gift by a guy she had only spent two seperate weeks with in the space of a year, so i know some of them do very well.
But i also know unless you see it with your own eyes you have to take everything they say with a pinch of salt, because even with the ones that look like they are capable of earning that kind of money, once you know them well you begin to realise the claims of how much they have made or can make vary wildly from conversation to conversation depending on what their particular agenda is that day.

Thats why i was asking him how he knew, did he see any evidence of it or did they just tell him.

Joking aside, a friend of my g/f and me works the discos in Patong and can make up to 75k a month but believe me when I tell you she spends heaps as well, and after about 2 years still has nothing to show for her horizontal work.
