I'm not being naive, go back and read the inital post, this is where the information is kept not in the forever changed posts by persons trying to appear right. The guy asked him politely to stop 3 times and then pushed him, the Thai straight away hit him back, no pestering, no discussion or anything else is mentioned.

Paul you still haven't answered, cos I know what your answer would be, if any guy anywhere in the world pushed you aggresively, then you'd deck him, without a second thought, the Thai masseuse did the same. Yes he was working in a public environment, yes he should be trained better, but couldn't all of those things apply to you in some instances? yes you should be mature enough to know better, yes you shouldn't do this in front of.. whoever, but if a guy pushed you, one handed or two, no difference, tell me you'd walk away!!! well maybe you do not work in a public environment, but you could substitute that for any number of other places, oh and by the way so would Sefton and as said before none of us would bemoan you for doing it, guy pushes you he deserves a reaction.

yes, if i were pushed i would react in an aggressive manner
but, and you know this but won't concede it because it will weaken your point, these thai guys absolutely 100% do things to provoke Farangs

i have said no to those massage guys 100's of times, maybe a few times i have had to tell them no twice
on the most part, they are all nice
now i don't know this for sure, but for this guy to continue to pester the farang when he clearly knows what "no" means leads me to believe he was one of many thai guys looking to start shit

But the fact remains one of them is paid to be able to work in a nightclub environment with drunk people.. Part of that job is be a professional and not kick off.

also i feel that dodger view of being shoved first equals being shoved back is abosulety right. i have not yet been to thailand (soon!!) but i know that if it happened anywhere here in aus, the person who shoved someone would defenetly get some form of aggresive reaction back. the point of being a thai and a farang is almost inconsequential.. if the thai was starting shit as some think, be smart and say no again or as i mentioned piss in a cubicle..

If I'm flying half way around the world into a country somewhere in Asia where I have no clue what's going on ... if I start pushing people around in a drunken state, I shouldn't be surprised to end up with a black eye.

Good, take this one for example, I never have been to Cambodia, let's fly there, get piss drunk and push the next employee in the toilet around if he goes on my nerves ... wouldn't even cross my mind doing that.

Then again, I never had any problems even in most drunken states, maybe luck, maybe because I don't touch people or get sucked into discussions / fights ..

That guy losing his temper and pushing, to me sounds like a guy who would get into fights pretty quickly anywhere, I bet it's not his first black eye he got ...

I was in the Hollywood toilet earlier this year. One of those guys offered to massage my neck. I said no thanks. When i had finished my p1ss and washed my hands he offered me a towel. I reached out to take it and he purposefully dropped it onto the floor at my feet. I just walked off as it was obvious he was spoiling for a fight. The guys in Hollywood who provide this service look more like doorman than bathroom attendents. Not the nicest characters i have met in LOS...
