$140 for a nude Nuru would be worth it for me but even $70/40 is too much for standard service. I was just at a place loaded with girls in their early 20s. Broadly speaking...consensus suggests this joint is bottoming out. My one experience was 2 and a half months ago, which is an eternity in spa years, god only knows if the girl I had fun with is there at all anymore. I was last here over the summer. It was great back then, but it definitely changed for the worse! Girls are mixed. Some looked pretty good, but the others not so much. The attitude sucked with the girl I had (think her name was Nina or Mina). She tried to upsell me right away which turned me off. How much you pay? she asked. Then wanted it up front. I said no. I have heard others say that this place is watched by LE. It is in a high profile location. Nevertheless I stopped by on a whim after seeing their sign after having a slice of pizza downstairs. Big mistake. There were a couple of girls. The cuter one was already taking a customer back to a room and I saw the other one. Not that bad, but nothing special. Uninspired TS. Then lame massage. Way too hard. Felt like I needed a massage after I left! And extras were offered but started right away with the upselling and wanted tip first. That drives me crazy! Normally this would be a good thing, but in her case she was disgusting. She had a hairy snatch and it smelled like rotten tuna and kimchi! Total damage .8 + .4 for tip (way too much, but I would pay her double to get dressed!). I would recommend going to Aura a block away. I always feel comfortable there and they have a nice selection of girls.

I actually went out of my way to say I didn't judge it. What I said was that I don't especially worry about it myself, so alot of my reviews will be for places that people who are concerned about this kind of thing wouldn't want to go. I'm lucky enough not to have to really worry about it too deeply, but clearly my perspective is the minority.

The analogy to taking a dump in Herald Square makes no sense, however. A person walking down the street is welcome to believe whatever they want about what happens in a massage parlor, but the reality is that not all of them engage in illicit activities. Getting a massage is perfectly acceptable, and as far as the innocent families on 34th street know, that's all you've done when you exit a massage parlor. If they were giving handjobs in herald square, on the other hand, that would be worrisome. The good news is that handjobs are given in back rooms and stalls, the same way we take dumps in a bathroom with a door closed...
