Just received a warning from a freind saying if you are a member of Ctha or Embody a pervert is contacting therapists asking for massage without underwear. She has been contacted twice today.

I prefer to be naked for a massage and will ask the therapist if they are ok with that...does that make me a pervert?

I don't do massage at all now but when I did had no problems doing people without underwear.

This is the norm in many countries.

Do you know I read that as the client was phoning to ask for the THERAPIST not to wear underwear! I feel a right idiot now. Having said that, there is a market for naturist massage isn't there? I vaguely remember seeing a thread about it not long ago. Not my cup of tea but.......whatever.

Anyway - I agree - I have had a few clients who prefer to be massaged sans pants. Not ever bothered me particularly. The bits that are not being treated are all covered up.

I had a message via my advert on gumtree (alas my only response), a gentleman asking if I would massage him whilst he is naked as he is a naturist (which isn't a problem) and without towels as he finds them irritating and distracting, well I would find it distracting without the towels!

It wouldn't bother me if they were naked underneath the towels, as already said they are covered up during the therapy.

Personally I only massage clients if they are wearing full outdoor weather gear preferably Barbo*r Jackets and Trews because they absorb the oil so much better and maintain the dignity of the client and myself.

Sorry if I'm dense - but I'm not fully understanding what the problem is, and why this person is a 'pervert'. Every massage I've had I ask if I keep my underwear on, and the masseuse says that it's up to me. With the vary rare exception I opt for the no-underwear option. Most of them prefer it because it makes it easier for them.

Again, sorry that I'm not clear what the issue is. Maybe if you could explain why this person who wants a massage without underwear is a pervert it'd help me understand what the concern is.

what I can never ever understand is why some people go into the massage business, but then find it offensive when their clients bare part of their skin!?!?

Why oh why do these people waste their money in training, and give decent therapists a bad reputation?!?!

Whatever next? Reflexology treatments with the client made to wear steel toe-capped boots!!

A friend of mine always takes his pants off AND wants a tummy massage AND it is VERY noticeable that he enjoys the massage, does annoy me a bit, as it gets in the way pmsl , but he ain't a perv

and whether I am receiving a massage (as a massage addict) or giving one as an amateur nudity is best for the recipient at least. It enables a fuller, flowing massage. That does not mean that a good therapist cannot give a good masage while wielding the drapes but it is a legitimate enquiry. many therapists even insist on underclothes and drapes - talk about overkill !

and to repeat from above if you are into a profession that involves the body then it is a bit late to be embarrassed by the body.

The sad thing is, becuase of the pervert attitude above, it makes it very difficult when contacting a therapist to even dare to enquire as to their attitude to sartorial style without being labelled as a pervert for merely asking.

personally I wouldnt have an issue with them being naked but civered with a towel, I would not however like to have an ass staring me in the face while I massage, but for me personally its because I think I would get nervous then or if I seen a male got aroused and I have a tendancy to giggle when im nevous which would completely ruin the massage for the client

I have massaged both sexes in various states of dress and undress - it was invariably discussed as to what they felt comfortable with combined with the minimum to enable me to give an effective massage. Although I have never used my qualification in a business / paid sense but for friends and colleagues - my attitude to the males in particular if the situation arose - was - "if you can't lie flat on your front then that is your personal problem not mine" or words to that effect. Any unwitting response was dismissed in a light hearted manner.

I agree that if you are doing bodywork you should be expecting to see bodies but there is always a fine line between exposed for comfort and effectiveness of the treatment and nudity for the thrill or exhibitionism effect.

As for being exposed to a bare ass Holisticbabe - better that than some of the gruesome feet you see...euuuuuu

I think I forgot to add that this particular man wanted more that a no pants massage if you know what I mean.He wanted his privates massage!. I have no problem with the male body and not a prude nudety does not offend me what so ever. Its mean that seem to think that because we do massage we should offer them sexual favours. Thats not what am about think I didn't explain in my tread propally lol.
