Phuket Survivor Series Kiwi Steve Style.....

Paid for tickets to Phuket today so can start the count-down shortly.
This next trip I am going to map out tasks to perform and try to complete as many as I can. If you want to add a task feel free. After three previous trips there is still plenty I havn't done, like even play a round of golf which is a game I play a lot of.
I was going to add Christins massage to the list but after reading the posts re this place and how bad their service is struck off already.

So heres my list so far with diffilculty rated 1-10 (10 = easiest):
(1) Visit Eden in Bangkok just to get ready for Phuket. (10)
(2) Play 18 holes of golf (7)
(3) Go to Phi Phi Island (6)
(4) Watch a kick boxing match but not the one in Bangla Rd (9)
(5) Eat some of those bugs the vendors sell (yucck) (2)
(6) Go to Star Wars ex Shark (7)
(7) Go to Mai Thai bar and wave to all the poor guys at home watching. (10)
(8) Check out the bridge that connects Phuket to the Mainland. (5)
(9) Bar fine two girls together (hopefully Eden Club will have me ready for that action). (10)
(10) Get a date with a girl that works at Ocean Plaza.(6)
(11) Score with a European girl (0)

Plenty more to add yet.

ps MikeGB I honestly don't know if I can get with one of your friends (although I must admit after a few rums things could change)

No as I was not travelling alone that time... But I'm not too much into european girls.
For the ones who are interested, the place was called Silver Sand bar on Ao Pai (the only place where you can have fun in Samet).
Mostly european girls and a few from Australia. Som thais from Pattaya in holidays fo the week-end. Contact was very easy.
The 2 AM closing time was not enforced there as the local policemen were having fun with us.

Here are my couple of ideas.

1.) You MUST go to Christins massage. It is just one of those experiences where you must say "Yep, ive done it" good or bad.
I wouldnt go again, but not because I had a bad time. It was good fun and novelty. I am glad I have done it, but have more fun getting up to 'my usual shit', so to speak

2.) Going to the Sarasin bridge is a GREAT idea. Whether you do it by Jeep or motorbike, you will find the roads, long, straight and quiet. When you reach the Sarasin Bridge, DONT stop there! If you go about 1 km past the bridge, you will see a sign for Pangn-na Bay. You must do a U turn then just follow the signs. The road goes on for about 30km through beautiful REAL Thailand. Eventually you come to the little fishing village. Go to the pier and a little Thai man will ask if you want to see James Bond island. Take a boat trip (about 1,000 baht for 3 people), but INSIST on seeing lagoon and caves. Its amazing. I have been 3 times and seen different stuff each time

1)a must has to be a least one night on phi phi ,it is fantastic.
2)have a meal with the thai`s and not in a resturant for tourist`s ,(a good place in patong is the alley way with the food stalls down it up from the monty bar and the rest )or in a resturant that only the thai`s normally go to .
3)watch the Thai boxing at the national stadium in BKK,but go with the Thai`s sat further back .(cheaper seats and a better atmosphere)
4)eat the cooked bugs and insects.(they dont taste to bad , mind you i had to pissed before i tried them )
5)hire out a power boat ,even if it is just a day trip ,hate to use this expression but it was awesome,and the skipper made sure you knew how fast you was going.(phuket adventures i found to be the best )
6)see Elvis perform at radio city in patpong market BKK again.
7)ride an elephant in the jungle and /or ride an ox
8)james bond island and the caves/lagons
9)visit Phuket fantasea for a night out ,it is very good.
10)make whopie but not with a falang woman.

8) - Scuba dive. Its ok . Give it a try. I dont know why/how people do it in UK. Its hard enough and cold enough in Asia!! Its bollocks as far as im concerned, but each to their own, NOW, what I like.........

You said hire a power boat. Again, nice for 2 minutes. If you want REAL excitement, then learn to ride a big motorbike, then go off Phuket island (across Sarasin bridge). If you stay on the main road you will hit a stretch of road which I consider to be one of the BEST in the world. 2 lanes of very well tarmac'd road, with great vision for about 2 miles. You can go the fastest you have EVER been in car/bike. I hired a Honda Blackbird and have done just over 170mph (275km'h) a couple of times.
I have hired other good bikes, but Blackbird is no1 so far.

Another good buzz is to shag a ladyboy bareback Its just as dangerous as the motorbike ride but half the price

If on your travels you go to patpong market ,about half way up the main street in between the go go`s is a big bar called RADIO CITY,i think it is most nights the is an Elvis tribute on with a live band ,who are very good and have a couple of the band who fool around and make the show entertaining and clean.
if i remember right they come on seforum.xxxe about 22.00 ish.
Now as for the power boats,mike your are right about the motor bike`s ,but it is not every day i have the chance to be on a proper power boat for a whole day,so to me it is well worth it ,mind you i love bikes as well ,so it really is a disney land for me.
when i get a chance i will scan a pic of the boat to show you .
one day i hope to be out there for Thai new year and be sober enough to see it through,instead of doing what i did on my first visit and sleeping through it because i had been on a all day session with friends.
