Have to admit I now think that Soi Tiger is the best Soi (surplanting Eric) in almost every caeforum.xxxory...

Mainly the girls - Soi Tiger always had it's share of fine TGs but it used to get worse the further you went down the Soi (toward the toilets) but that is no longer the case, fine women everywhere and always dancing on the bars/poles.

Atmosphere - much improved, lighting just right (dark enough to hide / light enough to check out the scenery). Music system is still shit tho and the DJ cannot mix to save his life.

Cocktails and Dreams has moved and I think Soi Tiger has benefited from this as it was taking over a whole area.

Soi Lion - decent but I personally hate the bright lighting, like drinking in Tescos supermarket. Some fine girls here tho if a bit pushy.

Soi Seadragon - still struggling, some decent bars and girls but doesn't seem to generate an atmosphere? Still like this Soi for the gogos - you can change scene very quickly.

Soi Gonzo - improved from it's "never seen it" / laughing stock position. Aussie Bar opening up makes it more attractive to the general tourist trade.

Soi Easy - the 'death' of Capt Kirks looked to have finished off this Soi but it is slowly pulling itself back together and of course it has Dragon A-gogo 'teh number one'.

Soi Sukhumvit - is just 'meh' in every department for me. But I reserve judgement as I don't go down there enough.

Soi Eric - still wins on being a more relaxing place to drink and has the best/cleanest toilets. And good food delivered too.

Only thing is since C&D moved out the slow infiltration of LB's to the bars .... have to see how this trend goes but hope Tiger doesnt turn into Soi Croc.

There have been LB's in alot of the bars for a long time now, well before C&D's moved out. I wouldnt say it is any worse now than before

I suppose i was 1 of the pioneers to have LB's working at Love Bar. I thought why not, they provide good entertainment, they work harder than most TG's and alot of customers seem to really like them

The level of energy in soi tiger is on a different plain from Soi Eric. The way i see things is, if u want to have a chat go to soi eric, if u want to party go to soi tiger. Both soi's are good in different ways.

Sorry Jesper but that's not true.

You only have to drink at the bars of Soi 7 and Soi 8 to see lb's here & there mixed in amongst the ladies.

Same is true of Soi 6 too and Walking st beer bars. Kittens Agogo, underneath the Penthouse hotel also now has quite a few lb's on their books.

I dont mind the LB element in moderation.. I am no big fan but they can be funny and I think a mix soi is kinda fun.. When you get aggressive Katoey hassle thats when it tires rapidly but I do think its a lot in the way you handle them.. If treated with humour and a joke / smile I find they never give me real hassle.

Tiger is the boss beer bar soi IMO for party vibe...

Sukhimmvit.. Dont go down there at all and only ever been in once at night (it was also stonkingly hot) but at the front of the soi theres a bar open in the afternoon and had a couple of very cute younger girls calling out.. I was walking past and wasnt planning on a beer but the calls and the heat suggested a cold one and a chat was in order.. Nicely forward cuties and would make a good afternoon pickup, especially as unlikely to be taking the missus out that way...

Seapearl as noted has kinda picked up a little.. again not a bad early stop spot from the 5 - 8 range in the evening..

Everything else pretty spot on..

There is one Italian running a bar in Soi Eric, I think the 3rd or 4th on the right side, close to MTB. Guy is real friendly, just waving every time I pass, so I sometimes go in for a drink.
