you sound way to nice to deal with BG's, mostly patong hardcore BG who will try to get the most money from you for the least effort...
stick to the disco scene (hollywood, tiger..) and try to find a nice FL, once you meet don't waste time and ask her if she wants to go back to the room with you. If she wants to hang out with friends first etc.. move on to the next girl. Maybe getting a bit drunk before going out (buy a small thai whiskey bottle at 7/11 and your choice of mixer) will give you more confidence and overcome your shyness dealing with the girls.

Don't forget you are a paying customer, not into some kind of romantic relationship where you have to try to do everything to please the girl...

I did find that true on my visit to Pattaya, in the beer bars on Walking street there were simply shit loads of girl in each bar, compared to some of the miserable attempts of some of the beer bars in Patong.

I know, always happens to me, my friends always tell me that. I try to be too nice or accomodating and especially in these kinds of situations where you are a paying customer, it just doesnt work as people may and will try to use it to their advaneforum.xxxe and in a way its hard to blame them as they are just working for the cash themselves. You are right about the FL, met up with this FL who used to be a BG the last time i was here, she is awesome and so much fairer to me, never once brought up money and always seems to want to spend time with me, even to meet her sisters etc, i had to offer to give her money as she never brought it up. I wasnt even sure if she wanted to leave but i sort of didnt ask either way, i just assumed it and also wanted some alone time although i felt guilty afterwards.

sounds like BGs require a bit more hard line / up front behaviour. I guess i start feeling guilty as i dont want to push anyone around etc but that probably just backfires.

BTW what is the best / cheapest way to get back to the airport from patong beach. I think my hotel will give me the option of 700baht for a trip back to the airport but i wasnt sure if there was any cheaper methods like a tuk tuk or taxi? I will ask my hotel anyway just in case.

Besides the water activities / tours and the shooting range and things like that. ARe there any activities i can do in patong beach which doesnt take up too much time, have about 1-2 days left to do stuff before i leave, i generally cant do the long activities as the girl stays till around midday or later. I was really intrigued into this idea about caves and seeing large spiders and other insects, but i cant find much information on it besides what one person said on one of these threads.

Not sure where u are staying but 600/700 from hotel is OK. I paid 600 from my hotel near Christins massage. New car, A/C and sensible driver. Much the better way to go.
Got metered cab from airport and was a nightmare.

I've always just booked a taxi through the hotel, you know its going to be there in the morning then and can get to the airport.

Not sure about any of that, but i know theres a Butterfly farm which also has insects and scorpions iirc.

Like everything in LoS, it's hit and miss. And because everyone's different, a TG that didn't do it for you, might be heaven for someone else. If you find yourself a good FL, be sure to ask her phone number. Always nice to have a spare list !

Yes always good to have a phone book with previous girls that were good, or just girls you liked previously that night and can go back to.

Just make sure your phone is on silent.. because at about 4am.. when they've failed to find a customer your phone won't stop ringing..

Already have my flights booked for phuket, that was the problem i had. My only option is to get new flights from phuket to pattaya and then back again to catch my return flight home. If i had figured out about pattaya sooner then i probably would have just made sure to fly to bkk instead. Oh well, might have to be for next time. If i look at getting extra flights from phuket to pattaya and back, it will just jack up the price a bit.

Some good advice there from Slim, had enough of the BG games from some of the girls in Patong, head to Hollywood or Tiger and find a FL, you might even find my fav TG (who unfortunately can't meet me in BKK tomollow, something about water landings 555).

Lonewolf, the wood medication can be bought at any chemist - pharmacy. You can also buy it off the street. If you buy from a pharmacy you have a better chance of it being genuine or safe.
