I was in la mansion and was going to take a shower after a nice screw . I reached up to turn handel on touched bare wires and got shocked pretty phucking hard as i was barefoot and standing on a wet floor.The girl i was with was surprized i didn't die. The maniger came in and put fresh black tape over wires :shock: now i feel alot safer :idea:

Yeah.....the black electrical tape over the connections. :shock: I remember it well. The Hemingway has suicide showers in some of the rooms. I'd say you're lucky to be alive.....As far as I know, they're 220 volts. :shock: You wouldn't think those showers would pass code.....if there is a code. :?

The suicide shower was my favorite photo to show the folks back home from my previous trip. It took me two days before I really got the hang of it. I guess I would have felt better about them if they would use wire nuts instead of electric tape.

I have been waiting for yrs. to get report on someone not making out of an Mp due to taking a shower.

We put on condoms, hide or wallets as safety measures and yet we all enter those death trip shower.

My ex's father took power striaght from the light pole into the house and to the shower to run the shower heater head. I witnessed the event unfold before me and everytime I took a shower I just hope it was not my last one.

When reading the board, I always wondered what a "suicide shower" was. Now I know! Just when I thought I had been around, there is always more to learn. : I did'nt even see one on my trip to C.R. Looks very shocking indeed!. :shock: :

Thanks guys for clearing that one up for me. Once again, I learn something new here on CRT. So they are common in Central/South America hey?
