Maybe it is the approach! I am quite difficult, so I walk around for some time!

Then I see one I think is gorgeous. I sit at the bar, makes jokes with her.

When I also like the caracter, after some time, sometimes half an hour, I stop talking about all and everything and just say: I like you very, very much, you are a very nice girl. I would love to barfine you, is that ok with you?

Then she says "yes" most of the time. And how much would that cost me?

If they say 2000, I laugh and just say: I am not a butterfly man, so I like you, that is too much! If you nice you can stay some days with me, I am good to girls!

I only had once, that the price did not drop!

But every time I asked, without begining at least to know the girl a bit. Tthis would not work, if you go to a bar and quite fast ask the "price", because then they will always try to get the best out of it!

With Tig, asking 2000 at first with this approach, I was even for once ready to pay 1500. SHE dropped it herself to 1000. But then....I never had another one in Los, last time after her... :thumbsup:

I had two girls (spearately) in BKK who agreed to LT in the bar but changed to ST once we got back to the hotel. One developed a cough after the first round and asked to go home for her medicine at about 3am - she got a ST payment. The other 'remembered' an appointment the next morning when we got back to my room before the shower - I kicked her out without payment, though she got her share of the BF and the night off.

After reading this thread I'm wondering if these were real coughs and memory glitches or just tactics?

hi all, when i got there i hooked up with a girl /womamwho charged 2000--i stayed with her for about 6 nites then told her 2000 was too much money so finish-
then i went with another who would only accept 2000,so i went with her for about 6-7 nights ,then told her the same,
i noticed in the mai tai she was talking with the first one ,and then she came over and said she would stay with me for 1000 which i did till i came home
-up until then/tsunami,
i had a great time ,
i noticed there were hundereds of punters in the sois, but also even more b/gs than punters ,so its not like there was a shoreforum.xxxe of b/gs!

You might think Im mad and this probably relates to veterans as well. The longer you stay here or visit here frequently, I feel the less you are interested in the girls as being your main focus. MikeGB case in point hardly had his togger out the whole holiday

It becomes more about meeting up with friends, getting pissed together, ripping the piss together, making new friends & lastly picking up a BG/FL/LB

On another note. Lots of BG's have big groups of friends, they live together, eat together & socialise together. Its not natural for a Thai girls to spend 24/7 on a one on one situation. So if they can get 1000 baht ST, then this allows them to go back to their natural habitat where they are happier

As Johnny has said before there seems to be a tendency for certain types of tourists paying way over the odds to the point that many BG's might think this is the norm and im sure that many more and more are playing the sponsor game allowing them to FL when it suits them. I have about 8 FL's come my bar everynight to drink Heineken, Taquilla, dance on the bar and have a laugh and joke with me. I know them well enough for them to tell me how much they are getting from sponsors and working the FL scene. These girls are good looking and have more money than me....................

Well for me it different. Fine to have some drinks, but I really come for the girls!

I couldn't get 1 day on holliday there alone without a girl now.

I arrive whatever what hour, whatever condition, shower, put my clothes on, and the chase begins!

I think your spot on G, All I could think about before I went was how many LBFMs I was going to f*ck but when I look back, I actually had more fun meeting up with fellow BMs, Just going on the piss and having a laugh as you say, And its always an added bonus to get your rocks off with some little cutie at the end of the night, But as MikeGB proved its not essential because you can still have a ball with out them.....

I didnt even approach one girl while I was there, I was having to much fun drinking and having a laugh with my mate and some of the other BMs most of the time, So lucky for me every girl I was with came up and start talking to me first, And then if I liked the look of them I would buy them a drink and talk to them for a while, And then I would just ask them if they want to come with me, And lucky enough I was never turned down once except for one little cutie that I was with got a bit to drunk, And just as we were leaving taipan her big sister came over, And started talking to her and the next thing I know her friend was taking her away because she was so drunk, Anyway then the big sister says I come with you(But she was not as nice looking and I was pissed off because I really wanted her sis) So I said no and I sat back down at the bar and got another drink, And then she sends another friend over to me, Anyway I told her no aswell but she didnt get the hint and sat there beside me for about 15mins even though I had my back turned to her, Little did I know that night was going to be the end of my short butterfly carear, But thats another story.....

Anyway thats probably why I never talked about money and they never complained about 1000bt I would put under there bags/phones the next day, I guess if you approach them they probably think you really like them(Which is true) and they then try to get as much money as possible out of you she can, Where is if they come to you, Well then they must like something about you or are desperate, Either way 1000bt is enough for them, Well thats my theory anyway, I just hope it still works in april, Fingers crossed :ytounge:

Picked one up on the Beach Road whilst on my way back to my hotel. Body to die for (her, not me…) but her ‘performance’ was just about average. In hindsight the fact that she only wanted 500 baht should have alerted me, however at the time I thought “Bargain!!” and I put it down to being quite late in the night (must have past 1am).
TO cut a long story short, after doing the dirty deed in my hotel room, I fell asleep exhausted, only to wake up about 5.30am… on my own. Luckily only my mobile phone was missing. Went down the police station feeling like a total mug. Oh well, you live and learn…

PS. Needless to say I’ve been looking for this FL ever since whilst in Patong…

just to add my pennyworth to this thread, I was in Patong end October and first week in November and I never was asked let alone paid more than 1000B LT. Since the devastating Tsunami there have been reports of girls asking 2000, finding that the punter moves on and then they go home alone. The message soon got across and from friends who live there I understand that the majority will now ask only 1000, let's face it with a shoreforum.xxxe of available farangs this was only a matter or time.
The day after Boxing day I booked my ticket for my 15th tour of duty, arriving mid March, if you are thinking of changing your travel plans or cancelling PLEASE don't; things are pretty much back to normal and the Thais need your custom, it's the best way to "donate" your hard earned wonga to all those who have given us so much pleasure and fun over the years.

I am more used to Pattaya than Puhket/Patong and this is how I always did it in Pattaya. I have been to Patong twice now, 3rd time coming up in April) and adopted the same attitude there. I go to a bar, spend time and money in there, offer to "release" if girl if she wants it and then off we go, restaurant, another bar, bed etc. I have not yet had a girl ask me to pay her a certain amount, I have asked but usually after the event and they have all said the same "up to you".

Maybe I have been lucky ?? Another way to look at it, is if you ask them how much, then you immediately lose control of the situation and they are now controlling things.
