Agreed. I just found this place a few months ago and once you learn how to filter through the nonsense it’s a good source of information.
It’s easy to spot the multiple handle members that are talking to themselves to promote a shitty spa.

Today, the Admin has posted a notice to Promoters and Spa Owners. I have given my input to him and got a like from him. So, I start this thread to gather ideas from Hobbyists and how we would like this site to be run for the Admin reference. Because a Promoter has gone to such an extent that his acts may suffocate healthy exchanges of information between hobbyists, we must help the Admin get the site going the way it’s intended. This site is for hobbyists, not for the benefits of promoters. We should have a friendly atmosphere to communicate with each other; any teasing or harassment should not be allowed.

For our interest, we should forbid the following:

1. False advertisements

For example, a promoter advertises one MPA as 30 years old, great body jealous by a bikini model. But, according to a report by a hobbyist, the MPA is actually 40, enhanced breast and ugly ass.

As responsible members, we should alert false ads here after our experience.


2. Multiple Handles

Some promoters use many handles, from promoting work to attacking competitors and hobbyists who may go odd against their advertisement in an honest way. This indecent act causes confusion and distrust. I am reluctant to exchange information because I don’t know who actually come to me and for what purpose.

We should report whoever uses multiple handles to the Admin when we find out.

3. Gossips or Rude attack to hobbyist

We come here to exchange our experience in a spa to help each other find what we enjoy. We are not interested in any gossips, say a MPA complains about tipping; it’s between the client and the MPA/spa. We don’t mind having some suggestions or guidelines, but the client should have the final say given the services.

We want to have a focus on getting information that serves our purpose. We should ignore and neglect all gossips, especially, most of the time, they got twisted around for evil purposes. Why do we need noise or pollutions on our site?

I want to make one point very clear; I am not against all promoters. Most are friendly and helpful, and just an exceptional one has poisoned his category.

Please state your wishes, and I would invite the Admin to look at this thread to get an idea of how you guys like it to be managed. It's time for you to speak up!

Can we just stop the over promotion of Asian spas and girls. This is a big problem on Massage planet, almost everything is the over promotion of FOB Asian girls and spas. Many people including myself don't like Asian girls and there is just way too many advertisements of them. I realize there are many Asian Sp's in the market but that doesn't give the spas or their shillers the right to over spam.

Our "commodity" is information and by sharing that, we make our "payments" to participate here, but some of the crap needs to get removed. I like the tags of SPA AD vs REVIEW vs QUESTION, really helps me out and the search should come back in chronological order.
Fake handles should be a no-brainer, any duplication should be a ban right out.......end it forever. Then promote only with schedule and information and answers. For the hobbyists, anyone that starts to attack another, being racist, etc. should be banned..........end the nonsense with a no nonsense policy and clean it all up. There is lots of good fun and humour and good and bad writers, those who just ghost and read, but all gain some information, I know I have found lots of talent from people on here and I have saved money and bad experience from feedback on here. Sharing will keep the information flowing and our coalition will help to keep the prices in control based on type of establishment and service. Keep on sharing and keep the hate out of here.........nothing worse than reading a good thread and then some morons start fighting or taking the thread off topic.

Not suggesting this is the way to go, but just providing some insight into how another board was managed in another city a number of years ago.
There were multiple levels of membership. For the most part, the lower levels didn't know the higher access levels even existed beyond VIP.

Regular - just like most boards where everyone could post and read others' posts. They asked that the posts in this regular (open to the general membership) section be kept to a low level of detail when it came to mileage, similar to one of the other TO boards.

VIP Section - this section allowed a higher level of detail in the reviews. Access to VIP was given to members who requested it and had a proven posting history. Their request was reviewed by members of a higher level and approved or denied. Sometimes VIP access was given to members without their having requested it because they had proven to be very good contributors.

Platinum - This was reserved for VIP members who had again demonstrated an excellent posting history. However, to be given access to Platinum, a member did have to meet with at least a few Platinum members face to face for a lunch or drinks at least once. This measure ensured that there was no posing as someone else. It also scared off people who really wanted to keep to themselves. Some good friendships developed from within that group. Obviously, there was some serious sharing of information going on within this group.

Admins and Mods - Platinum members who were very active and showed themselves to be trustworthy were invited to be moderators, or in a few cases, admins for the board. It was a small group of five or six members. This meant that there were internal controls over how things were run. Because it was more than one person, there was often at least one mod online at most times. This group got together periodically to discuss how things were going and to just shoot the shit.

All in all, that system worked very well. There was a true sense of community, overall and at each level of membership. Different opinions were respected and tolerated, but everything was kept at a respectful and friendly level. No bullshit was permitted.

At one point, the owner of the board sold it to someone else and things went in a different direction as per the new owner's vision.
Unfortunately, it went downhill from that point on.

The signal to noise ratio is way down in the past couple of years, so I'm not really convinced of this argument any more. We can argue about how truthful terb reviews are but there is still a steady supply of reviews, and some on the massage forums openly discuss extras without being nerfed. Here threads are derailed by trolls and shills constantly and quite a few posters have clearly given up hope of getting laid and instead just shitpost endlessly about failed politicians.
