Why do you go to Go Gos

I am curious to see how different the go gos are in Thailand.

I've been to a few strip/go go clubs with my friends at university and one of my friends even worked there.

I found these times really funny because it became evident that all these girls had to do was wiggle their **** and lavish some attention by talking to the guy and he'll happily empty his wallet.

I've been to 2 in Spain, the men here seem to want more for their money, not interested in conversation and seemed to have a "strip *****" mentality. Also they hated the fact that females (non strippers) were there. The other time was in Puerto Banus ie the playground of the rich where I had to stop my friend from getting beat up while some dude offered me money to strip... "What me?...erm I think it's the girls in the bikinis that you need to ask mate"

Are the go gos clubs in Thailand female friendly?

It depends on where I am, what time of day or night it is, what else there is to do, etc. Sometimes in the states I'd go at lunchtime for the cheap lunches and the two-for-one beers. On vacation in Thailand? More for an easy way to kill some time and get out of the heat. The dancers usually aren't too good. So if it weren't for the music and the beer, I probably wouldn't go at all.

well the LOS gogos are pretty tame now comapred to what they used to be....once it was tops off or all nude.........and dancing around quite provocatively......and I'm not talking about those pussy cook dinner for 6 shows..........just everyday gogos..

Now it's just acoupla limp biscuits being held up by a pole.........not my scene really

Yes - pretty much so - in fact now seems to be that about half the patrons at Champagne are couples.

For me with Go Go's apart from the A/C its good to get a variety of environments - Dragon is good for its cute girls and while a bit 'touristy' for me I like to endulge there every now and then. Suzy Wong and Crazy Girls good outfits and nice for a bit of eye candy and relaxation/fun.

Of course for me the main reason for going to Go-Go is to see the Mrs 55555555 !!

I go to gogo's to get in the mood and build an appetite. Its also nice to have a chat with a friend with the girls in the background imho.

I really like going to Dragon agogo. I think it has it all, nice women, great music, air con, pool tables and I like the atmosphere in there. And its not pushy at all. Definitely a regular jaunt for me on my trips.

I like the gogo's for a few reasons

1) they are enclosed and the girls in general keep thier mouths shut.. They also are more 'professional' and are not going to go calling you and going all spoony if you make that clear.. So if you have a LT around town your 'safer' from detection.

2) The girls are often much more 'up for it' for unusual or more extreme requests.. Of course its no general rule but average beer bar girls can baluk at the idea of 3 somes 4 somes or more etc where most GG girls wont blink.. Only ask how much..

3) Girls in general should be a bit better looking.. again no hard and fast rule but on average a GG girl is in better physical shape.. Also you get to see a better close up look before BF.

Gogo's are no0t the place for a quiet beer.. They are the place to get a bit wild and have a major laugh.. Better with some mates and a whole slew of girls IMHO..
