why only a couple posts? do i need premium access

hello i only see 7 threads in this Pennsylvania forum. Do i need premium access to see more or is this forum just getting started or isnt popular yet?

It just isn't taking off. ASPD had so many posts every day. I was hoping this site would catch on. Basically I'm lost now. There is no info anywhere for massage reviews or even provider reviews for Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. It's depressing.

Many PGH folks migrated to indys.com during the ASPD collapse as well.

You are right, many went to indys, but there are mostly, well indys there. Still not too much in the spa world. However eraps has been gaining traction in spa reviews (and others) I counted over a dozen reviews in the month of May.

I was a member of the ASPD board till it shut down. Some of you may remember my old handle as "The Candyman" Nice to see some of the members from ASPD on here. I hope this site takes off. I miss reading the posts

This site is not going anywhere and the reason is that no one posts on it, except to bitch and moan.

Six of you Western PA guys posted; only one had any reviews. Is there a lesson there? I think so.

It is just as bad in the eastern part of the state, where another board dominates, for reasons that are obscure to me.

This is not a chicken and egg thing. Posts beget posts. My advice is to start screwing and post about it.

The Pittsburgh board thrived on ASDP.

Of course, ASDP didn't put providers, agencies, MPs and stripclubs that were in cities over 300 miles apart in the same category - as you do with Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

I'm not going to drive 12 hours round-trip from the Burgh to see a provider in Phillie, nor am I going to book a flight. No one is.

For better or worse, a hobbyist's reaction to seeing a site where providers from so far away are just lumped in with his own location is to not take the site as seriously.

It's frustrating and off-putting to read about something that sounds promising and then realize: oh, it's 320 miles away.

Needless to say, Indys, which is becoming the defacto Pittburgh site (but which sadly isn't as unbiased as massageplanet is or ASDP was) gives Pittsburgh its own boards.

I realize you're performing a real service and am not here to complain. But if I had a business that failed to attract a customer base where previously there'd been a huge one I'd give some thought to what I was doing wrong.

You might find if you both set up a seperate Pittsburgh board and were prompt about giving credit for reviews you'd have many, many more posters. You might very well find you had many additional Phillie posters if they had their own board too.

I appreciate what you're trying to do. I hope this will be taken in the spirit it was given.
