Well, for what its worth....

I think that Dj Dave has always put forward a sensible and reasonable argument -

He might have used a few incorrect statistics, but most statistics are bull sh1t anyway !

The main thing he was trying to say was be careful !

We all know there is nobody who can 'preach' at us.

I knew what I was doing from the very first moment - anybody who pleads ignorant is a truly thick sh1t - I was more ignorant by not covering up.

I have had a few diseases, but luckily not the big one - if I can catch gonorrhea of the throat (which I have) then I am also able to catch HIV.

I like fast motorbikes and am willing to take the risk of death - but after 4 or 5 years in Thailand bumming beautiful creatures I realise that my time might be limited if I keep on doing what I do.

It is always our choice.

I love sweet juicy lady wrapped around my face, but I have also given 'my' disease to someone I love. we are both clean now -

No, i dont expect people to change their ways because i say so, but the more information that people have available about a subject - whether that be from discussion forums like these, medical journals or whatever, the more likely they are to make better decisions.

HIV is preventable by using condoms, whereas being on a motorbike and someone crashing into you, or dying from circulatory digestive diseases or whatever, are really out of your control - again your argument is weak - im not really sure why i had to explain that. Arguably condoms do break (they shouldnt if they are used correctly), but as a form of contraception, condoms are considered as being a preventative measure against transmission.

I am assuming by the following statement that you do not care whether you die tomorrow or in 30 years then?

Im sorry you feel like this, but i guarantee that there will be very few who actually agree with your understanding of people's views on this thread.

If you don’t indulge in unprotected sex, i am confused at your reaction to my posting, as most of it really wasn’t directed at you. Are you having a bad day or something? The people that I am targeting are the people that do ride bareback or seem to be in denial about the risk of HIV (and not just the people that have posted on this thread).

Maybe it would do you no harm going back to school. Im still having trouble working out the ‘perfectly admirable’ and ‘patronising nonsense’ bit all being in the same sentence. Very confusing!

I was under the impression that herpes like mulluscum, genital warts, HPV, etc could be caught with a condom ?? Skin on skin contact for viral transmission is what I had understood.

First of all your posts do come across as being patronizing, And I bet you a lot of other BMs would agree with me on that.

Now as other BMs have stated on this forum, The message of getting people to wear condoms is a good one, Because nobody wants to catch HIV or spread it and condoms are the safest way to do do that.

But let me tell you something, Its people like you throwing about false stats and trying to patronize BMs as if they were 5yr old kids, Is why people miss the message in your posts.

If you would like to get your message across in the correct way in which a lot of BMs might actually stand up and take notice, You should take a look at "Dirty Mikes" post on this thread, He gets the message across without giving out false stats, Without patronizing BMs and most importantly with a sence of humour without losing the seriousness of the subject.

By the way, I actually am one of the BMs who on both my previous tours didnt wear condoms, Brought them with me all right, Had all the best intentions in the world but after a drink fuelled night and a few split condoms, I thought fu*k it and didnt use them on both my tours, I went with about 10girls in total and didnt catch a thing off any of them, And shagged them all a lot more than once, I was lucky.

I have learned my leason from my last trip to the Gum clinic, Actually got real freaked out last time and will never go through that again, I will be covering the little fella up in future, Not because of posts like your or eurogirls which I had had read previously read before my last tour, You need to ask yourself why!

However, speaking of birds from the Canary Islands, this little pigeon is from Tenerife. Had the misfortune of spending a week on a boat off Broome West Aust with her and her sister. Did no good unfortunately, but still good for a visual.
